IVDAEA CAPTA / SC Judaea seated to right under palm tree in mourning; to left, male captive standing right with hands bound behind back, arms around; SC in exergue; all within circle; chains and Hebrew legend in margins. Rev. ISRAEL LIBERATA Palm tree; to left, female figure standing right, holding sheaves of wheat; to right, male figure standing left, holding adz; Hebrew legend in exergue; all within circle; Hebrew legend and stars in margins. Edge inscription: ISRAEL GOVERNMENT APPROVED ISSUE 1948-1958. Light surface marks, otherwise, good extremely fine.
